“Eagle Theatre Announces Peeps Diorama Contest”
HAMMONTON- The Eagle Theatre in Hammonton announces a fun and creative “Peeps Diorama” Contest, sponsored by Wally Bear Candies and The Eagle Theatre. Using yummy marshmallow Peeps for characters, contestants will create creative dioramas depicting a scene from a famous play or musical. From shoeboxes to shipping crates, the contestants have no size limitation on the dioramas.
Winners will receive a $100 Goodie Basket from Wally Bear Candies and The Eagle Theatre. There is no entry fee. Contestants may enter in one of two age categories –7 to 12 years old, or ages 13 years old and up. Entries are due delivered to the Eagle Theatre on Wednesday, March 24 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Judging will be done by the public, with votes taken on the entries during two performances of The Second & Vine Players “The 1940’s Radio Hour” on March 26 and 27 at 8:00 PM, and at the “Spring Fling” Children’s Event on Sunday, March 28 at 2:00 PM. The winners will be announced at the conclusion of the “Spring Fling” event, but need not be present to win.
Contestants can pick up complete rules and entry forms at Simply Stationery on Bellevue Avenue or at the Eagle Theatre on Vine Street in Hammonton.
